Requirements

• Student in a Master’s or Bachelor's in Economics, Finance, Business, Engineering, Data Science or a relevant field; top European Schools
• Previous work experiences: 1-3 years in top M&A firms, Consulting (McKinsey, BCG, Bain&Co) or Private Equity
• English speaker and bonus points if you are fluent in any other European language (N.B. our office language is English)
• A plus if you have international work experience

Partech Impact targets to be a leading pan-European Impact-native Tech Growth fund. Its aim is to offer investors exposure to high-growth European Impact-native tech companies without venture risk, i.e. with a first proof of a successful business model.

The objective of the fund is to invest and support Impact-native x Tech, proven and scalable businesses in their Growth and Impact journey.

About YOU within the Impact Team

As a member of the investment team for Partech’s Impact fund based in Paris, you will dive headfirst into the European Impact-native startup ecosystem to help find the next category leaders and contribute to the firm’s ongoing rapid expansion

1. Sourcing: actively drive outbound sourcing: map and assess vertical landscapes, identify top opportunities, connect, and nurture relationships with entrepreneurs and experts.

2. Dealflow: manage and assess inbound deaflow, evaluate and analyze pitch decks, participate in and contribute to initial assessment of opportunities, gradually learn to quickly assess whether an investment opportunity is relevant for Partech or not.

3. Investment: actively participate in investment processes and due diligence efforts, including specific analysis deep dives (unit economics, exit dynamics, market sizing and dynamics, competition, etc.), in-depth conversations with entrepreneurs and contribute to end-to-end investment process.

4. Portfolio: ad-hoc analysis and deep dive for our portfolio companies (go-to-market, expansion outside a company’s primary market, competitive intelligence).

Skills we are looking for

Structuring and analytics skills: your problem solving and structuring skills are best in class, from structuring issues, selecting the right analysis to perform, performing the analysis, deriving insights and communication insights and key messages in a structured way

Business sense and strategic thinking: you like the challenge of assessing investment opportunities. You are motivated to clearly articulate an investment thesis based on facts and convictions

Thrive for excellence and willingness to learn and progress: You like being in an environment of constant learning and can quickly upskill on new topics

Communication: you have strong writing and verbal skills, structure, sharpness, conciseness and attention to detail

Autonomy and organization: you proactively look for information and manage clean processes but still leverage your team when needed. You can multi-task and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment

Team spirit: you love working in teams and in diverse settings. You should be ready to share your views and defend your opinions but be open to receiving continuous feedback

Tech and Impact savviness: you are passionate about Impact tech and in particular the Impact-native x Tech ecosystem in Europe
