Partech Seed team here 🌱. The last couple of months have been very active for us, with some amazing founders joining our Partech Seed family and some big news coming from our portfolio companies. Its a super exciting time to be an early-stage VC, and we’re looking for an exceptional investor to join our team and help us back the best European founders from Day One!

We're looking for an amazing person to join our team and help us source & invest in the best early-stage startups across Europe. This person will play a key role as part of our Seed team, and our local presence in Berlin.

So who are we ? 🤓

Partech is a global VC firm, supporting Founders at all stages across Europe, North America, Africa and Asia. Our team of five runs a dedicated Seed fund, focused on backing stellar founders from Day One. The fund is one of five specialised strategies our platform features. We are proud pre-seed/seed backers of companies across all sectors like Alan, Pennylane, Sorare, Merama and Pydantic among dozens of others in the making. Some of our recent backings in the DACH region include Enter, The Exploration Company, Metycle and Greenlyte.

• 🇪🇺 Help us find the next European unicorns : Hunt for the best founders across Europe, analyse and challenge their business models, test their products and help us partner with them. Develop your own gut feeling and style to build strong founder relationships.
• 💪🏽  Support team members in getting to the finish line: Assist team members throughout the investment process, from due diligence to closing.
• 🌍 Get exposed to the boiling European startup ecosystem : Learn from the best entrepreneurs, angels, industry experts, build relationships and develop your own network, organise your events, create your community of investors and founders.
• 🤖 Build robust tech expertise: Build your own knowledge base, research, analyse and unbundle industries and trends to create your own thesis. We are a team with appetite for deep tech, foundational AI, developer tooling and infra - so be ready to go deep into those topics.
• 📈 Help us build the future of Partech seed : For us it's always Day One, we're an established fund but a seed team with an entrepreneurial mindset. We're humble learners, we like to challenge our ideas and keep on hustling to build the future of our team (new tools, processes, etc.).
• 🇩🇪🇪🇺 Build out our presence in Berlin and beyond: While based in Berlin, you find gems in all DACH ecosystems and across Europe. Your Major: DACH; Your Minor: Europe.🔥 Come and help us build a leader on the European seed market 🔥

So who are you ? 😍

We don’t believe that there is a “one size fits all” way to get into VC. We are looking for people with the following sensitivity:

• 🤓 Curious & tech-savvy: you love technology and you are passionate about all things technology, from GPU workloads to AI-content creation and B2C home energy services… Your curiosity knows no limits and you fully embrace the AI era from computation and infra to applications.
• 🦄  Hustler with a flair: you can find the best companies ahead of the market, quickly assess their potential, filter them accordingly and make your way to help the team partner with best the best founders.
• 👊🏼 Proactive do-er: we look for people with autonomy, self-reliance but leveraging the team when necessary.
• ⛹🏼 Humble team player: we win and lose as a team, so we look for people with a true team spirit. You are able to debate and embrace working in an international and multicultural team.
• 🕸 Network builder: you love people, and people love you! You can easily build relationships with people, you enjoy networking and you want to develop our brand in Berlin, Munich and across Europe.
• 🥷🏽 Rigorous organizer: you love smooth, fast-paced and efficient processes (and you know ways to improve them).

Ideally, you also:

• Have a prior experience as an entrepreneur, as an operator in a startup or as a VC (internships included) with a strong passion for the tech ecosystem.
• Exposed yourself to technical/engineering challenges, through a university degree or a technical operator role.
• Fluent in English, French or German is not required but a plus.
• Based in Berlin (or willing to relocate), open to regularly spending time with the team in Paris.
