Role Summary: One of our growth-stage companies, UpSlide, a premier productivity solution provider for financial services, is actively seeking a Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to join their dynamic team. UpSlide enhances the functionality of core business tools like PowerPoint and Excel, catering to top-tier clients including Citi and KPMG. Positioned for further expansion, UpSlide operates with over 160 employees across global offices in New York, London, Paris, Singapore, and Berlin.

Responsibilities of the Role:

  • Global Sales Leadership: The CRO will build and lead sales teams worldwide, recruiting, developing, and managing a high-performing sales force.
  • Revenue Performance: This role involves setting and exceeding revenue targets, optimizing sales strategies, and maintaining accountability across revenue teams.
  • Strategic Alignment between Marketing/Sales and Product: The CRO will align marketing, sales, and product teams to optimize the customer acquisition process and ensure consistent messaging.

Key Priorities:

  • Strengthen and enhance the sales framework across all offices.
  • Optimize offerings and pricing strategies.
  • Plan staffing and organizational strategies to meet growth objectives.

Reporting Structure: The CRO will report directly to the CEO and collaborate closely with the executive team, including Heads of Marketing and Product. They will have 6 direct reports (5 country managers and the Head of RevOps). After six months, the CRO may become a board member.

Job Requirements: The ideal candidate will have an international background, significant experience as a sales leader in a high-growth SaaS BtoB environment, and a proven ability to work effectively across various functions. Ideally, they'd have 2+ years of successful track record as a sales leader (CRO or right below) in a 30%+ CAGR company above 30M€ ARR

Recruitment Process: Includes an introduction call, interviews with senior leadership, a case study review, and a final assessment through role-play and interviews with co-founders.
