About the RoleBlendid is seeking a proven Manufacturing Program Manager to join our engineering team and lead multiple projects simultaneously. The ideal candidate will have experience successfully leading multiple medium-to-high complexity projects on time and on budget.The candidate will leverage her/his/their experience and passion for converting engineering designs into manufactured products.The role is expected to be in-person at our Sunnyvale, CA headquarters and reports to the Head of Engineering.Key Responsibilities- Simultaneously manage multiple manufacturing initiatives, ranging in scale and scope; ensure projects are completed on time and within budget- Manage the relationship with our manufacturing partners and serve as the primary interface of our engineering team- Routinely provide and explain designs and other artifacts to manufacturers- Manage manufacturing process through regular status meetings via video call and in-person vendor meetings as needed- Manage manufacturing project costs, quality checks and timeline targets- Oversee timely ordering and receipt of parts- Manage project plans, including timely communication of any risks to product, assembly, and parts levels- Drive the manufacturing and parts vendor selection process- Manage version control of all product artifacts such as BOM, CAD drawings, release documents across tools such as shared drives, PDM, PLM tools- Manage financials via Quote, Invoice, POs, payments across multiple vendors in a timely and organized manner- Manage the IQC and OQC across vendors, manufacturers and internal teamsAbout You- Five or more years of manufacturing management experience, having launched a minimum of five medium-to-high complexity products- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Industrial Engineering or related field- Significant cross-functional experience working with and between development teams, manufacturers and vendors – ideally across geographies- Ability to provide summary and detailed levels of manufacturing status as required by each project- Experience leveraging at least one project management tool- Experience reading engineering documentation such as STEP files, PCB files (at the viewer level)- Experience driving decision making with evaluation matrices- Experience with documentation management and PDM/PLM tools such as Arena, Agile, or Vault- Excellent written and verbal communication skills- Start-up and food space experience preferred but not required
