About the RoleBlendid is seeking a strong Mechanical Engineering Director to lead our very talented team of mechanical engineers and technicians. The candidate will leverage her/his/their experience and passion to solve intricate problems while creating innovative products that are reliable and commercially viable. The role is in-person at our Sunnyvale, CA headquarters and reports to the Head of Engineering.Key Responsibilities- Mentor and lead a group of mechanical engineers to design, prototype, test and manufacture custom parts, assemblies and products.- Integrate third party parts, assemblies or products into the Blendid family of products.- Build highly reliable, serviceable, and maintainable products to satisfy customer requirements, mainly in the commercial food preparation space.- Develop an engineering roadmap in service of the business roadmap.
