We’re seeking a smart, detail-oriented Credentialing Assistant Contractor to join our Credentialing Support team. If you are highly organized, proactive, and passionate about supporting healthcare professionals behind the scenes, this role is for you.
As a Credentialing Assistant Contractor, your primary focus will be tracking, managing, and updating licenses and insurance documentation for providers in the Zeel network. You will work closely with internal credentialing and support teams to maintain accurate records, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and provide timely support to our providers.
This role is ideal for someone with administrative or credentialing experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask across digital platforms.
You will work independently and monitor licenses and insurance on your own schedule, up to 40 hours a week. We prefer candidates who can work at least 20 hours a week. You may work any day or hour of the week as you see fit.
We will consider applicants for this contractor role from the US State of Georgia, the Philippines, and Mexico.
Key Responsibilities
-  Licensure and Insurance Tracking
 -  Monitor license and insurance expiration dates.
 
-  Collect and update renewed documentation from providers.
 
-  Verify license validity via official state or national boards.
 
-  Ensure insurance meets organizational requirements and upload to systems.

 -  Maintain accurate digital records in credentialing platforms and shared trackers.
 
-  Communicate professionally via email, phone, or chat to request and confirm documents.
 
-  Follow up proactively with providers to prevent documentation gaps.

 -  Assist credentialing and support representatives with administrative credentialing functions if desired.
 
-  Escalate any urgent or incomplete documentation to senior team members.

Qualifications
-  1–3 years of experience in credentialing, healthcare administration, or customer support.
 
-  Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
 
-  Excellent written and spoken English.
 
-  Experience with tools such as Google Workspace, credentialing platforms, and ticketing systems like Typeform or Kustomer.
 
-  High level of integrity and discretion when handling sensitive information.
 
- A proactive attitude and the ability to self-schedule effectively
