We are seeking an IT Systems Specialist to join our growing team at Zeel. In this role, you will support the technology infrastructure that enables our employees to do their best work. This position will focus heavily on end-user support, computer and server maintenance, cloud application management, and basic AWS cloud support.

The ideal candidate will be a hands-on, solutions-oriented professional who is motivated to expand their technical skills across both remote user support and cloud platforms. They will demonstrate strong communication abilities, collaborate effectively with team members, and consistently take initiative to identify, address, and resolve technical issues. We are seeking a proactive individual who is committed to continuously improving systems, processes, and user experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the installation, maintenance, and upgrades of computers and servers used by the Zeel team.
  • Respond to incoming technical support requests from staff.
  • Diagnose and resolve basic issues related to hardware, software, networking, and cloud applications.
  • Assist in the management of the Google Workspace environment, including user and group management.
  • Support basic AWS cloud administration tasks, such as user account management, permissions, and monitoring.
  • Manage user access permissions, perform password resets, and handle account-related tasks across cloud and on-prem systems.
  • Collaborate with other team members to escalate complex issues and assist in troubleshooting.
  • Assist with basic management and support of WiFi networking and VOIP phone systems.
  • Maintain documentation of systems, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

Required:

  • One year customer support experience
  • Experience supporting Windows Desktop and MacOS operating systems.
  • Experience with Automox, Kandji or like support software.
  • Familiarity with commonly used applications such as Chrome, Firefox, Google Office Suite, Google Drive
  • Understanding of managing Google Workspace (users, groups, basic settings).
  • Exposure to AWS cloud services (basic administrative tasks like IAM user management and monitoring).
  • Experience with WiFi networking and VOIP phone systems.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and cloud environments.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good organizational skills and ability to work independently.
  • Ability to produce clear written documentation for internal use.

Preferred:

  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, or similar.
  • Familiarity with endpoint protection tools and basic automation/scripting (PowerShell, Bash).
  • An understanding or willingness to learn various compliance requirements (Hipaa,Soc2, Hitrust, etc….)
