We do this by disrupting the traditional residential real estate market, providing fully furnished and artfully designed apartments for stays starting at one month. We remove all the hassle around finding a rental with no long-term contracts, security deposits, broker fees, moving/buying furniture, etc., giving choice and flexibility to allow people to plant their roots anywhere 💥.

Role |
We are looking for a Director of Marketing to lead our marketing efforts in a holistic (360º) way, combining strategy and execution to design and implement marketing initiatives that drive sales, growth and strengthen market presence.
In this role, you will build and lead the marketing department, shaping how Ukio becomes known as the global housing brand. You will define the go-to-market strategy alongside sales, craft compelling messaging, and directly influence revenue generation and brand positioning. Operating in a fast-paced scaleup environment, you will combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution, testing, learning, and iterating continuously. Your work will directly impact growth, pipeline creation (MQLs and SQLs), and market adoption. You will collaborate closely with sales, tech, supply, design, and leadership teams. This is a rare opportunity to define a sector, influence how people travel and live, and build something truly unique and foundational.
We are looking for someone with a particularly strong B2B discipline who will grow our different audiences (guest, landlord, and brokerage). Experience in real estate, hospitality, proptech, or a related field is highly valued.
Responsibilities |
Marketing Strategy & Revenue Growth
- Define and lead Ukio’s global marketing strategy across B2B and B2C channel, aligned with company vision and growth objectives.
- Own marketing’s contribution to revenue, including pipeline generation, demand creation, and qualified opportunities.
- Build and optimize the full marketing funnel—from awareness to pipeline, revenue, and customer lifetime value.
- Partner closely with Sales and Revenue teams to strengthen go-to-market strategy, improve conversion, and accelerate growth.
- Lead integrated, multi-channel marketing initiatives across digital, partnerships, events, and outbound to drive scalable demand and market expansion.
- Translate brand and positioning into high-impact campaigns that generate measurable growth.
- Continuously test and scale new acquisition channels, partnerships, and growth opportunities.
Customer Lifecycle, CRM & Martech
- Own the customer lifecycle strategy, leveraging CRM and MarTech to maximize engagement, retention, renewals, and lifetime value.
- Develop automated lifecycle journeys across channels (email, SMS, in-app) for onboarding, renewal, and win-back.
- Ensure strong data governance, segmentation, and marketing automation to enable scalable growth.
Marketing Leadership & Performance
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing marketing organization, fostering a culture of ownership, collaboration, and accountability.
- Establish clear KPIs and performance frameworks, using data and experimentation to continuously optimize results.
- Identify and leverage emerging marketing technologies, tools, and trends to maintain a competitive edge.
Requirements |
- Minimum of +5 years experience in a senior marketing role, preferably with a strong B2B background
- Experience managing individuals across various marketing domains
- Proven experience in lead generation and automation, driving clear return on investment
- Experience managing paid media agencies and delivering strong performance results
- Highly analytical and metrics-driven profile
- Experience working with CRM and automation tools
- Has elevated a brand through holistic storytelling campaigns that create emotional connections with audiences
- Experience in real estate, hospitality, travel or proptech is a plus
Skills & Competencies
- Data-driven mindset with advanced analytical skills
- Excellent project management and stakeholder communication abilities
- Creative problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to think strategically while executing hands-on when needed
- Strong B2B marketing expertise, being able to turn strategy into results
- Strong grasp of Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn, programmatic, SEO basics, and tracking setup
- Comfortable working in a startup/scale-up environment building from 0 to 1: adaptable, proactive, resourceful
