Business Development Manager - MENA

TransferRoom is a hyper-growth B2B SaaS business on a mission to change the football transfer market for the better. We do this by empowering football clubs, agents and players to be successful in the transfer market by giving them real-time market intelligence and direct access to a global network of decision-makers.

Since our launch in 2017, clubs have used TransferRoom to facilitate over 4,000 transfers, and we are proud that today over 700 clubs from 60+ countries and 100+ leagues are currently using the platform.

Brief intro to the role:

We're looking for a Business Development Manager to oversee the development of our club and agency customer base. You will be engaging with senior decision makers in the industry across the Middle East and North Africa, wowing them with our offering and converting them to TransferRoom advocates.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Prospect, qualify and develop new leads
  • Manage your sales pipeline from prospect to close
  • Achieve your individual revenue targets and department KPIs
  • Manage your portfolio strategy
  • Overseeing and managing existing customers
  • Maintain accurate pipelines
  • Understand, manage and maintain the CRM system

    Who you are:

    • 4+ years experience working in a SaaS or membership business and/or a high growth start-up environment with a proven track record in developing new business
    • A hunter with proven track record of pitching at CxO level
    • Fluent English and Arabic
    • Sports experience is not a prerequisite but an interest and ability to talk intelligently about football is a must
    • Full Drivers license
    • Able to travel up to 50% of the time
