Here at The Exploration Company, we are developing, producing, and operating Nyx, a modular and reusable space orbital vehicle that can eventually be refuelled in orbit and that can carry cargo - and potentially humans in the longer run.

We want you as a talented engineer to help us in our mission by defining our post-splashdown capsule recovery operations.

  • Analysis and evaluation of sea and weather states at potential splashdown sites for Nyx Earth

  • Definition of recovery timelines from preparation to return to shore

  • Specification of criteria for departure and de-orbit decisions with regards to recovery constraints, in coordination with the GNC team

  • Identification of requirements for the recovery team assets and facilities, in coordination with the MAIT team

  • Assessment and trade-off of recovery team set-up strategies (e.g. internal assets and facilities VS external providers, benchmark and selection of external suppliers), in coordination with the MAIT team
