About this opportunity:
As our Site Reliability Engineer, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of the systems that power StuDocu’s internal operations and workflows.
You will work within our Technical Excellence team to build and maintain the infrastructure running Kestra, our workflow orchestration platform used across multiple teams.
Your focus will be on improving infrastructure reliability, scaling workflow systems, and helping transform Kestra into a platform used by teams across the company.
What you’ll be doing in this role:
Design, build, and maintain reliable production infrastructure supporting Kestra workflows
Operate and improve Kubernetes-based infrastructure
Manage and optimize PostgreSQL databases in production environments
Scale our workflow orchestration system handling thousands of tasks per minute
Improve monitoring, observability, and system performance
Help expand the Kestra platform for use by teams across different cloud environments
Work with stakeholders across the company to support internal systems and workflows
Translate complex technical concepts into clear communication for non-technical stakeholders
Participate in an optional on-call rotation
What you’ll bring to the team:
5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering or Infrastructure
Strong experience running production systems at scale
Deep knowledge of Kubernetes
Strong experience with PostgreSQL
Experience with observability tools i.e. Grafana, Prometheus/Mimir, or Loki
Experience with AWS is a must - experience with other cloud providers is a bonus
Experience managing systems with high throughput or heavy workloads
Experience working with workflow orchestration systems is ideal
Prior experience with Kestra is a big plus
Strong communication skills and ability to translate technical topics into clear explanations
