Department Overview

Rohlik Ads is the in-house Retail Media and advertising platform of Rohlik Group. Operating across five core markets - Germany (Knuspr), Austria (Gurkerl), Czech Republic (Rohlik), Hungary (Kifli), and Romania (Sezamo) - Rohlik Ads enables brands to connect with high-intent grocery shoppers at scale across both onsite and offsite environments.

Built on first-party commerce data and fully integrated into the Rohlik ecosystem, the platform delivers measurable, closed-loop performance across the funnel: from awareness to conversion. It combines self-service and managed service capabilities, with advanced targeting, standardised attribution (7-day post-click/post-view), and a growing suite of insights and measurement products.

Rohlik Ads has moved beyond early-stage build into rapid commercial scaling. With strong revenue momentum, expanding inventory (including new placements and formats), and increasing demand from large international advertisers, the focus now shifts to accelerating product innovation, deepening measurement capabilities, and establishing Rohlik Ads as a leading Retail Media player in Europe.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Product Owner who builds - not just manages.

You will prototype, ship, and scale features yourself using modern AI tools, while leading a cross-functional team to productionize them. This role sits at the intersection of business, data, and engineering, accelerating how fast we bring AdTech innovation to market.

You act as the bridge between business, data, and engineering - accelerating how fast we bring AdTech innovation to market and directly impacting revenue growth. You are not expected to be a full-time engineer, but you should be comfortable using modern AI tools to prototype and experiment independently.

What we expect from you

  • Owns the product vision, backlog, and roadmap for Rohlik Ads, aligned with Retail Media, Trade Marketing, and Insights growth objectives

  • Translates business needs into shippable solutions quickly, not just requirements

  • Builds AI-powered prototypes, tools, and automations to accelerate development cycles

  • Identifies and implements AI-driven efficiencies across the platform

  • Manages and prioritises feature requests with a clear focus on business impact

  • Communicates clearly with internal and external stakeholders on priorities, progress, and trade-offs

What we look for

Experience & Education

  • 5+ years of experience in Product, AdTech, or technical roles

  • Proven track record of shipping products end-to-end, not just managing them

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of end-to-end agentic AI architectures, with the ability to build and deploy business-focused autonomous agents

  • Skilled in modern AI-assisted development workflows (e.g. Claude Code, Cursor) to prototype and ship MVPs rapidly

  • Hands-on experience integrating third-party services via APIs or MCPs

  • Able to identify and deliver high-impact, incremental improvements within existing large codebases

  • Strong understanding of digital advertising platforms, targeting, and measurement

  • Ability to translate data into product decisions

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

  • Bias to action, ownership, and results

Languages

  • Native or C1+ proficiency in English

Preferred background

  • Experience working in a Retail Media or e-commerce context

  • Familiarity with DSPs, SSPs, or in-house advertising platforms

  • Technical background and hands-on building experience
