Department Overview
The Quality department ensures that all products and processes meet the highest standards of food safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction. We are responsible for setting and monitoring quality standards across the supply chain — from supplier management and product specifications, through warehouse operations and last mile, to customer feedback and complaints. By combining expertise, data-driven insights, and continuous improvement, the department safeguards trust in our products and drives innovation in quality management across all markets.
Role Overview
Head of QA leads the QA agenda at the country level. The role is responsible for managing QA teams across fulfilment centers, ensuring full compliance with national legislation and Group standards, and safeguarding the highest product quality for customers. The Head of Quality drives continuous improvement, is accountable for execution of Group standards and improvement of output metrics, staffing and developing the local QA team. The role also acts as the primary contact for the Quality Director and Group Experts to ensure smooth two-way communication.
What we expect from you:
Defines and executes the local QA strategy in line with Group standards and country specifics.
Executes Group QA standards and ensures continuous improvement of output metrics at country level.
Leads and develops the QA team.
Acts as the primary contact for QA Director and Group Experts, ensuring smooth two-way communication between Group and local execution.
Ensures compliance with local and EU legislation, Group QA standards, and certifications in the country.
Oversees supplier audits, product evaluations, and corrective action management.
Manages local product compliance processes, including private label and labeling requirements.
Represents the company in front of local authorities, inspection bodies, and trade associations.
Monitors and reports QA KPIs.
Drives continuous improvement and implementation of new QA procedures and tools.
Collaborates cross-functionally with Operations, Commercial, HR and Finance.
What we look for:
University degree in food technology, quality management, or related field.
5+ years of experience in food quality assurance.
Strong knowledge of HACCP, food safety systems, and QA regulations.
Experience in leading teams and managing cross-functional projects.
Skills in data handling and reporting systems.
Strong organizational and planning skills.
Ability to resolve crisis situations and systemic issues.
Strategic mindset combined with operational drive.
Fluency in the local language.
Advanced English knowledge (written and spoken).
