Resolution Games is a visual computing studio with a proven track record creating immersive gaming experiences for all. We believe that VR and AR aren’t just an add-on for gaming; they are the next logical steps for games.

Are you a UX/UI Designer with a love for collaboration? Do you enjoy shaping intuitive, player-first experiences across a variety of platforms and game styles? Then you might be the person we’re looking for.

About the Role

We're looking for a versatile UX/UI Designer to join our Shared Resources team and help craft seamless, engaging interfaces across multiple game projects. You’ll take part in everything from UX flows and interaction design to final UI visuals and in-game implementation, working closely with game teams to deliver experiences that feel effortless and immersive on both VR and flatscreen platforms.

As part of Shared Resources, a cross-disciplinary team that supports multiple titles in parallel, you’ll work in sprints shifting between game teams. This means, you’ll need to be comfortable switching focus between projects over time. Your ability to bring clarity to complexity, maintain design consistency, and adapt to different visual styles and gameplay needs will make a real impact across the studio.

This is not a role for someone who wants to redesign everything from scratch every time. Instead, we’re looking for a designer who can step into existing systems, respect established visual and ux directions, and build on them with thoughtful additions. You’ll collaborate with people from different disciplines and should feel comfortable shaping solutions even when they’re based on input or ideas that differ from your own.

What you’ll do:

  • Design user flows, wireframes, and mockups using Figma
  • Design for VR, PC, and mobile with a focus on clarity and comfort
  • Support implementation of UI assets in Unity, or collaborate closely with those who do
  • Maintain and contribute to shared design systems and libraries
  • Work across a variety of projects, genres, and visual styles
  • Test, evaluate, and refine designs based on team and player feedback
  • Collaborate with developers, artists, designers, and producers throughout the dev cycle
  • Create high-quality UI mockups and final art assets

Requirements:

  • At least three years of experience in UX design and UI art in the games industry
  • Proficient in Figma and Adobe suite
  • Strong visual skills in layout, typography, and hierarchy
  • Experience working with design systems and UX documentation
  • Excellent written and spoken English

Nice to haves:

  • Familiarity with Unity
  • Digital painting or illustration skills
  • Experience working with concept art and adapting to varied art direction
  • Background in VR/AR interface design

We’re especially looking for someone who is collaborative, curious, and adaptable. You know how to design with others - not just for them. You value structure but aren’t afraid of a bit of organized chaos. You can keep the big picture in mind while sweating the small stuff. You’re comfortable context-switching across projects without losing sight of what good UX and UI looks and feels like.

This role does require professional experience, but don’t let a few missing bullet points hold you back. Studies show that women and other underrepresented groups often hesitate to apply unless they meet every requirement. If you have a solid foundation and feel excited about the opportunity, we’d love to hear from you.

Who we are

Resolution Games is a visual computing studio with a proven track record creating immersive gaming experiences for all. We believe that VR and AR aren’t just an add-on for gaming; they are the next logical steps for games. As players and game developers alike, we’ve always dreamed of this day - the day when we can be IN the games we love. That day is finally here, and we are putting all of our energy into making the most of it for all, whether it’s creating a positive experience for someone testing out VR for the first time to delivering a rich, in-depth multiplayer game that keeps enthusiasts hungry for more.

We are looking for someone who wants a unique opportunity and enjoys collaborating. Someone who wants to be a part of a team raising the bar and creating a new set of standards. Our colleagues have can-do attitudes who appreciate a small studio culture. Therefore, even though we have grown, we continue to work in small teams and experiment while tackling complex challenges. We value having every voice heard and seek out diversity, equity, and inclusion in everything we do. Last but not least, we want those of you who are not just skilled but also a great addition to the team. That is because we believe in team over the individual, a great mix of freedom with responsibility, and that people should always come before the process.
