About The Role
The Senior FP&A Analyst will own core financial planning, forecasting, and reporting processes. You’ll work cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, GTM, and Product leaders to provide insights that fuel our growth. This is a hands-on role that requires intellectual curiosity, analytical rigor, and the ability to thrive in an environment where priorities shift quickly.
What You Will Do
Financial Planning & Forecasting
- Build and maintain detailed financial models to support forecasting, scenario planning, and decision-making across the business.
- Support the annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes by preparing analyses, dashboards, and presentations for leadership.
- Provide forward-looking insights to help leadership anticipate risks and opportunities.
Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial presentations for executives, equity sponsors, and the Board.
- Perform variance analysis to explain performance drivers against budgets, forecasts, and prior periods.
- Conduct SaaS/ARR-focused analysis including ARR growth, retention, churn, CAC, LTV, and other subscription metrics.
- Develop KPIs and dashboards for SaaS metrics (ARR, CAC, LTV, churn, gross margin, etc.).
- Translate complex financial data into actionable insights for executives and department leads.
Business Partnering
- Partner with the Accounting team to align FP&A analyses with reported financials (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow) and ensure accuracy in ARR and key SaaS metrics.
- Collaborate with GTM, Product, and Operations teams to align financial plans with business goals.
- Support leadership in fundraising, board reporting, and investor presentations.
Process & Systems Optimization
- Drive efficiency in financial reporting and planning processes.
- Leverage tools (AI, Adaptive, Anaplan, NetSuite, or similar) to automate workflows.
- Establish scalable processes suitable for a hypergrowth SaaS/AI company.
What You Will Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CFA a plus.
- 3+ years of FP&A experience in SaaS, AI, or other high-growth tech companies, or 2+ years in investment banking or a similarly rigorous financial analysis environment.
- Strong understanding of SaaS financial metrics, unit economics, and growth-stage business models.
- Advanced Excel/Google Sheets and financial modeling skills; experience with NetSuite & BI tools a plus.
- Experience with advanced data analytics and familiarity with platforms like Snowflake or Databricks is a plus.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and storytelling abilities.
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity and fast-changing environments.
- Extensive PowerPoint experience with the ability to transform complex financial data into clear, visually compelling presentations for executive audiences.
