Why Oviva?
At Oviva, we’re on a mission to make sustainable, personalized, clinically effective care accessible to everyone and to deliver against our vision of becoming Europe’s leading AI-powered chronic care platform.
Our digital programmes support people living with weight related illnesses. While weight loss is a goal for many, our approach is about so much more: improving health, building confidence, and enhancing quality of life.
We’ve already supported over one million people across the UK, Switzerland, and Germany, with a shared service centre in Poland. Every conversation, coaching session, and line of code helps move us closer to a healthier future. Join us and be part of the team making that future possible.
The role

Your mission is to lead a high performing team of Dietitians & Health Coaches to deliver accessible, clinically effective care. You will balance people leadership with technical agility using data and our internal digital tools to ensure every patient receives timely support while maintaining a sustainable, motivated workforce.
You will collaborate closely with Clinical Leads, Resource Planning, and Product teams—as well as Finance, BI, and the People Team—to ensure our services are data-driven, audit-ready, and optimized for safe, high-quality clinical governance.

Key Responsibilities
Operational Excellence & Workstream Ownership
- Own and drive end-to-end operational performance of the nutrition team workstreams, acting as the real time control tower to ensure patient access, safety, and flow are consistently delivered.
- You are accountable for hitting core KPIs (utilisation, access and wait list, flows) through in week performance management, anticipating risks, dynamically reallocating capacity, and intervening before bottlenecks occur.
- You will translate live data into decisive action, not reporting, using forward looking insights to protect performance and challenge data where needed.
- You will relentlessly optimise workflows through rapid build measure learn cycles, removing friction, automating processes with Product, Engineering and Pathway Teams, and embedding improvements at pace.
- Operating across the full system, you will manage dependencies, surface risks early, and drive cross functional resolution, bringing pace, ownership, and a bias for action to deliver a high-performance, scalable operation.
- Move beyond administrative 1:1s to provide high-impact clinical and operational coaching. You will be responsible for raising the bar of excellence within your team, ensuring every Dietitian and Health Coach embodies the Oviva Way.
- Independently manage the full employee lifecycle, including high stakes performance conversations and development plans. You own the Succession Plan for your team, identifying and preparing the next generation.
- Foster a net contributor mindset where team members are encouraged to flag inefficiencies and contribute to the collective success of the Clinical Delivery department.
- Own the onboarding "blueprints" for new Dietitians and Health Coaches. As Oviva grows, you will ensure that the time to competency for new hires decreases via management and close working with internal stakeholders.
- Serve as the lead champion for internal product launches or operational changes (e.g., new AI tools, platform features, or diary management). You will translate technical updates into "clinical reality" for your team, ensuring rapid adoption and feedback loops.
- Work with internal stakeholders to ensure the delivery of required quality assurance activities
- Proactively identify service level vulnerabilities (e.g., single points of failure in the rota or safeguarding gaps) and design robust continuity plans to mitigate them.
- Lead "Incident Reflection" sessions for your team. When a service error occurs, you don't just fix it, you lead the root cause analysis and update the SOPs to ensure it doesn't happen again.
