About the Role

    We are looking for a skilled and autonomous Salesforce Engineer to take full ownership of our Salesforce platform's health, governance, and evolution. In this hybrid role—roughly 60% Administration & Governance and 40% Custom Development—you will bridge the gap between platform architecture, reliability, and code execution.

    You will lead key administrative initiatives such as SSO management, proactive monitoring, environment health, developer tooling, while using your development expertise and AI-driven workflows to build, maintain, and optimize custom features when administrative demands allow.

Key Responsibilities

    Platform Administration & Ownership (~60%)

  • Environment Ownership: Manage, configure, and maintain our Salesforce sandbox and production environments (access control, storage, SSO configuration, and automation follow-ups).

  • Proactive Monitoring & Health: Drive initiatives to implement proactive monitoring tools and processes to detect, anticipate, and resolve incidents before they impact business users.

  • Release Management & Governance: Track Salesforce seasonal releases, perform impact analyses, evaluate deprecations, and ensure continuous platform compliance.

  • Security & Support: Lead and coordinate security audits, ensuring strict compliance standards, and serve as the direct technical contact for Salesforce Support.

    • Custom Development & AI-Driven Implementation (~40%)

  • Hands-on Development: Pick up development user stories and configuration tasks during variable admin workload cycles, adhering to rigorous engineering processes and quality standards.

  • AI-Accelerated Development: Utilize modern AI tools to accelerate code analysis, rapid prototyping, unit testing, and system documentation.

  • CI/CD & DevOps Execution: Build, maintain, and optimize release management scripts and CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth deployments across environments.

  • Diagnostics & Code Analysis: Read, debug, and optimize existing Apex code, automation, and debug logs to perform root-cause technical analysis.

Required Qualifications

    Qualifications & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in the Salesforce ecosystem, with a proven track record combining advanced administration with hands-on development.

  • Location: Based in the Paris area.

  • Strong hands-on experience configuring Single Sign-On (SSO) and multi-environment setups.

  • Practical development experience in the Salesforce stack (Apex, SOQL, Flows) combined with a disciplined approach to process, testing, and deployment.

    • Technical Skills

  • Salesforce Administration: Deep setup knowledge, security controls, profile/perm set architecture, environment management, and proactive health monitoring.

  • Development & Scripting: Proficiency in Apex, SOQL, automations, and scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python).

  • AI Engineering Tools: Demonstrated comfort leveraging AI tools to inspect legacy systems, accelerate feature delivery, and write technical documentation.

  • DevOps & Release Tools: Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Copado, Gearset, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or native SF CLI).

  • Diagnostics: Proven ability to read complex code, analyze debug logs, and perform diagnostic evaluations.
