Novicap is an end-to-end working capital solutions provider focused on enabling CFOs/Finance teams of SMEs to pay their suppliers and collect from their customers. This includes short-term credit (factoring, supply chain finance and loans) and payment automation solutions.

With offices in Barcelona and Madrid, we are currently looking for a Product Manager who wants to join our team. As a Product Manager, you will play a key role in delivering real, measurable business value through our products, to both our demanding client base and Novicap. As said, you will join us as a Product Manager. Working with the Head of Product, Technology Team and the wider business, you will turn customer and business needs into product development or product improvements.

You will contribute to the product strategy needed to meet our business goals, own the roadmap for one or more products, and manage the development of products, features and maintenance.

We expect you to be the subject matter expert for the products you own, and will drive the delivery of the next generation of products for Novicap.

More importantly, you will make decisions based on analysis, stakeholder feedback, and overall business goals. In doing so, you will ensure alignment between Product, Tech, and other teams with respect to product vision and project implementation.

You will collaborate with teams across the entire organization to contribute to our growth plans.
You will drive the scaling of our business by:

• Managing the improvement of the existing proposition to make it more relevant to our existing and target customers, more profitable and easier to operate;
• Owning product discovery and new product development to satisfy the unmet needs of potential clients, including short-term lending and enhancing our collateral capabilities;
• Working with Sales to showcase the benefits of our product through demonstrations, simulations and proposals;
• Scaling operational processes to allow us to support an expanded client portfolio;
• Working with Risk and Legal to minimize and/or manage credit risk when operating our products.

You will report directly to the Head of Product and will be working closely with another Product Manager, the Tech team and the rest Novicapers across Madrid and Barcelona. A young and dynamic team that’s waiting for you with arms open!

We need someone with a product mindset, who thinks repeatable and scalable value over short-term wins and who is comfortable working in startup environments and refining ambiguous details. Sounds like you?

As a Product Manager at Novicap, you must also have listening and communication skills in English and in Spanish (multicultural team here!) that help you both with listening to what's not being said and influence others to help achieve business goals. Both things will help you in building relationships across all domains and levels in the organization.

What do you need to succeed?:

• 4+ years of Product management experience in a B2B lending product in a technology-driven environment
• Direct experience of product discovery or management experience in working capital products in Spain
• Experience in driving cross-functional teams to deliver business goals through technology
• Experience identifying, sourcing, curating, researching and validating business opportunities
• Strong customer/stakeholder interview skills to identify customer needs and pains
• Experience of product owner-type responsibility in product development environment, including the translation of complex business needs into work packages that can be scoped by engineering
• Experience in driving cross-functional teams to deliver business goals through technology
• Experience of modeling business and operational processes
• Experience with product roadmapping and prioritization
• Data-driven decision making
