As a Data DevOps Engineer on our team, you'll play a key role in shaping the future of data infrastructure, deployment solutions and scaling our platform to meet the evolving needs of our data community.
What You’ll Do 💪
- Infrastructure Management: Assist in designing, implementing, and maintaining our data infrastructure to support smooth performance and reliability for various data audiences.
- Automation, CI/CD and IaC: Use Terraform and Ansible to automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration, leveraging IaC practices with CDKTF for efficient deployments.
- ML Deployment Solutions: Collaborate with the ML team to develop and maintain scalable ML deployment solutions, integrating seamlessly into our CI/CD pipelines.
- Cloud Services: Support the management of AWS services like RDS and S3, ensuring secure and scalable cloud environments tailored for data-driven applications.
- Networking and Security: Work with the team to configure networking components, ensuring secure and reliable connections within our cloud infrastructure.
- Scripting and Automation: Create scripts using Bash, Python, or Java to automate routine tasks.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other teams to deploy applications, streamline data workflows, and support their needs in a data-driven organization.
- Experience: 1-3 years of foundational experience in DevOps and infrastructure management, with an appetite for a data environment
- Skills:
- Basic understanding of cloud services, automation, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with tools like Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes, and EKS.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using CDKTF.
- Communication: Strong communication skills to thrive in a fast-paced, problem-solving environment.
