Your tasks
You’re passionate about innovative food products, enjoy negotiating with producers around the world, and want to help bring exciting brands from concept to shelf? Then this is the perfect opportunity for you!

  • Strategic purchasing of developed products (e.g., protein bars, nut butter cups, powders, snacks)
  • Selection, negotiation, and management of co-manufacturers / contract manufacturers across Europe
  • Contract management, including price negotiations, Service Level Agreements, and quality agreements
  • Costing & cost management: Analysis of manufacturing costs, raw material and packaging components, and production cost structures
  • Cross-functional collaboration with Product Development, Quality, SCM, Finance, and Legal
  • Close cooperation with the NPD team in the development of new products – from first samples to production release
  • Identification and implementation of cost-saving opportunities (e.g., through recipe optimization, weight adjustment, or supplier consolidation)
  • Market and competitive analysis: Tracking trends, discovering new producers, and monitoring innovations in the functional food & snack segment
Your profile
  • 3 - 6 years of experience in Procurement, Category Management, or Supply Chain Management, ideally within FMCG or the food industry.
  • You currently live in Berlin or the surrounding area, or are willing to relocate to Berlin for this opportunity.
  • Fluent in German and English (C1)
  • Experience working with contract manufacturers (Private Label or Co-Manufacturing)
  • Strong understanding of production processes, cost calculations, and margin structures
  • Skilled in price and contract negotiations, with a talent for achieving sustainable win-win outcomes
  • A structured, analytical, and entrepreneurial mindset
  • Hands-on mentality with high execution power and enthusiasm for cross-functional teamwork
  • Confident user of ERP systems (preferably Microsoft Dynamics / Business Central) and MS Excel
