About the role
We are seeking experienced Claim Executive with a strong focus on Health insurance products to join our dynamic team. As a Claim Executive you will be working with the business and placements team and play a crucial role in handling the after sales service.
Job Responsibilities
- Maintain claim ratio and SLA of claim handling of Life & Health (LH) products which are coming from agencies, corporate, and brokerage business lines;
- Develop and maintain good working relationships primarily insurer, brokers, partners, and direct clients;
- Conduct LH product socialization on each of closing business that bind under our business lines as well as maintain good relationships by doing regular visits and frequent follow ups with direct clients;
- Increase profitability of existing product lines by encouraging clients to use added value services wherever possible;
- Consult and promote the most effective cover for a particular need, taking a number of factors into account provided to business team;
- Deliver good customer service by responding swiftly to queries and concerns from clients, brokers and third parties;
- Maintain detailed knowledge of new and existing products by liaising with relevant stakeholders;
- Ensure credibility with direct clients by maintaining detailed knowledge of current market conditions and competitors' products;
- Monitor and report on claim performance particularly on LH products from agencies, corporate, and brokerage business lines;
- Support any administration to support business i.e. policy endorsement, policy health card distribution, tracking the delivery reporting, including do product socialization to clients on periodic basis;
- Work with underwriters to amend policies where necessary in order to meet client demand;
- Request internal invoices and send them to partners or clients;
- Reconcile endorsement premiums with insurance.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Insurance, Medical/Public Health, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 3–5 years of proven experience in Claim Management or Claim Operations in Life/Health insurance
- Solid knowledge and deep expertise in end-to-end claim process of Life & Health insurance
- Proficient in administrative tasks including policy endorsements, health card distribution, and tracking delivery reports
- Direct experience working within an Insurtech or Insurance Brokerage is highly preferred
- High responsiveness in resolving complex queries or concerns from clients and third parties with a customer-centric approach
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced Insurtech environment
- High degree of ethics when handling sensitive medical and financial data.
