About the role

This role will assist the Finance Manager and be responsible for the full set of accounts of two Thai entities, which are in the business of insurance brokerage / technology. The candidate needs to be very familiar with the insurance industry and common taxes in Thailand. It also requires the candidate to understand the business models of various partnerships well by perusing the commercial contracts and liaising with the commercial team.

Job Responsibilities

  • Monitor full set of accounting functions (AR, AP, GL), ensure timely collections and payments work closely with the commercial and ops teams
  • Ensure timely tax reporting and payment, monitor tax planning to achieve tax efficiency
  • Perform bank reconciliations
  • Oversee and record & accuracy the all receivables and accrue revenue
  • Monitor the outstanding account receivable outstanding.
  • prepare purchasing taxes and filling.
  • Support any ad hoc tasks and projects as assigned by a manager.
  • Prepare manual journal entries for prepayment, advanced receipt, advance payment and Balance sheet schedules
