WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Join the Getsafe team as our Finance Lead and take on a pivotal role at the heart of our company’s growth journey. You will own and shape our financial landscape – from budgeting, reporting, accounting, and controlling to driving and optimizing our operational finance functions.
As a trusted sparring partner to the CFO and leadership team, you will play a key role in high-impact topics such as strategic decision-making, fundraising, and M&A. Beyond that, you will build, lead, and inspire a team of two accountants and two controllers, elevating our finance function to the next level and enabling Getsafe’s continued scale and success.
YOUR MISSION
- Lead the elevation of our controlling system including transparency on financial metrics, cost control and budgeting initiatives.
- Support key finance functions as team lead, including accounting, controlling and treasury, ensuring seamless integration and alignment with company goals.
- Drive operational efficiency of the finance team through AI-based automation and workflows.
- Serve as a strategic sparring partner for the C-level, engaging and driving discussions that will contribute to the overall success of the company.
- Champion engineering best practices and help elevate our tech stack to the next level, setting standards for the organization.
- Working closely with our CFO to engage in investor and board relations.
- Foster collaboration with key internal stakeholders, particularly the people, sales & engineering team, acting as a business partner in creating business cases and guiding financial decision-making processes.
ABOUT YOU
- Proven track record in high-performing finance teams with a focus on collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Background in building and optimising financial systems for efficiency, accuracy, and scalability, incorporating (AI) tools for enhanced operations.
- Thrive in fast-paced environments, with a keen eye on building what’s ahead in the Finance team and structure.
- Due to your high affinity for numbers, you are a particularly accurate person with "attention-to-detail" with a high sense of responsibility and integrity.
- You bring fluency in both German and English.
