At Digitail, we are building the operating system for modern veterinary practices. Our platform helps clinics manage patient records, medical workflows, client communication, scheduling, and billing. All in one place.

Veterinary teams use our product every day to care for real patients.

As our platform grows, we are looking for a Frontend Engineering Lead who wants to improve systems, raise engineering standards, and help a team deliver consistently.

This role combines hands-on engineering, architecture leadership, and team mentorship.

The Problems You’ll Help Solve

Our platform is growing quickly, and we are at a stage where strong technical leadership can make a huge difference on the front-end part.

Some of the challenges you would tackle:

• Parts of the codebase need architectural cleanup and consolidation

• Multiple initiatives have been started but need stronger follow-through

• Engineering standards and frontend structure need to be clearer

• The team needs a strong technical leader who leads through code and example

Your job will be to bring clarity, discipline, and technical leadership to the frontend platform.

What You'll Do

You will help shape how our frontend evolves by:

• Improving and structuring our React + TypeScript architecture

• Raising engineering standards and best practices

• Contributing directly to product development

• Mentoring frontend engineers and helping them grow

• Ensuring initiatives move from idea → delivery

• Improving developer experience and frontend velocity

This is a hands-on leadership role, not a coordination role.

Product: complex SaaS (PIMS) platform used daily by veterinary teams.
