About the Role

We're looking for a hands-on Software Engineer who thrives on connecting systems and making data flow seamlessly across platforms. This isn't a role for someone who just writes specs and hands them off—you'll be building, deploying, and maintaining the integrations that keep our business running.
What You'll Do

• Design and build custom integrations between ecommerce platforms, payment systems, inventory management, and internal tools
• Create data workflows that power business reporting and operational dashboards
• Build and maintain APIs and middleware that connect disparate systems
• Write complex SQL queries and optimize database performance
• Troubleshoot data sync issues and maintain data integrity across platforms
• Work directly with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions
• Own the full lifecycle of integrations from conception to deployment to monitoring

Must Haves

• 7+ years of software engineering experience
• Very strong SQL and database experience (4+ years) - you should be comfortable writing complex queries, optimizing performance, and database design
• Software development skills in Python or JavaScript (4+ years) - you'll be writing production code regularly
• Strong analytical skills - ability to dig into data, identify patterns, and solve complex problems
• 3+ years building data reporting solutions - dashboards, business intelligence, or analytics tools
• Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship (we are unable to sponsor H1B or other work visas)

Nice to Have

• Ecommerce platform experience (Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, etc.)
• Experience with data integration tools like Zapier, Fivetran, Hightouch, Airflow, or similar platforms
• Experience with modern data stacks and cloud databases
