Event Manager
Context
To support our commercial momentum and accompany the rollout of our pipeline-generation strategy, we are hiring a B2B Events Project Manager on permanent contract.
You will operate across a dual scope: full operational ownership of the external events scheduled in our three target regions, and the design, launch and scale-up of an owned events programme (webinars, dinners, breakfasts) for our strategic prospects and customers.
You will report directly to the Marketing Director and work in close coordination with the Growth & Marketing Ops Manager, the SDR team and the sales teams for 3 regions (France, UK & DACH).
Your missions
1. External events management for the 3 regions
Take full ownership of all external events CyberVadis is committed to (trade shows, sector conferences, sponsorships) across France, the UK and the DACH region.
Coordinate end-to-end logistics: registrations, booth, materials, briefings for attending teams, travel, accommodation, goodies.
Manage relationships with suppliers and event organisers (negotiation, contracts, follow-up).
Define commercial objectives for each event with SDRs and Account Executives, and organise on-site meetings.
Deliver post-event reporting (leads collected, cost per lead, ROI, qualitative feedback).
2. Design, launch and scale-up of Proprietary Events
Design and run a webinar programme (topic selection with marketing and sales, speaker coordination, platform management, promotion, registrant tracking, replay management).
Organise, in collaboration with the sales team, executive dinners and breakfasts for prospects and customers in Paris, London and other strategic locations across the DACH region (venue selection, invitation management, guest experience, post-event follow-up).
Create new concepts of proprietary events, test them with target audiences, and roll out the most performant formats at scale across our regions.
3. internal coordination and reporting
Build and maintain a global event calendar — visible and shared with the sales teams.
Own the events budget and make sure it is respected.
Track leads and opportunities generated by events in Salesforce and present performance in marketing reviews.
Coordinate event-related communication assets (LinkedIn, email, landing pages) with the content and digital contributors.
Profile we're looking for
Beyond event management skills, this role requires a genuine project leader and orchestrator mindset. You bring together cross-functional teams (marketing, sales, SDR, CSM, vendors, speakers) around a shared project. You structure the plans, secure the deadlines and orchestrate everyone's contributions.
You are highly structured, you anticipate obstacles rather than react to them, and you always have a plan B — because that's the very heart of event management: it is full of unexpected hurdles, and your preparation is what makes the difference.
Experience & skills
5 to 7 years of experience in B2B event management, ideally in a SaaS, Tech or Enterprise Services environment.
Proven mastery of multi-format event organisation (trade shows, webinars, owned events) across multiple countries.
Comfortable with marketing and CRM tools: Salesforce, webinar platforms (Zoom Events, Livestorm…), marketing automation tools for invitation and registrant management.
Ability to run multiple events in parallel with rigour and attention to detail.
Solid ABM/ABX understanding and grasp of pipeline stakes in a B2B Enterprise organisation (a plus).
Languages
French: fluent (native or equivalent)
English: fluent written and spoken — essential (working language)
German: a plus for the DACH market
Soft skills
Project leader mindset: able to bring together cross-functional teams (marketing, sales, SDR, vendors) around a shared objective and move them forward together.
Highly structured: exemplary mastery of planning, reverse-planning, project management tools and deadlines.
Strong sense of anticipation: you spot risks early, systematically build a plan B and keep your composure when the unexpected happens.
Autonomy and ability to take ownership of a brand-new scope from day one
Excellent interpersonal skills: at ease with vendors, VIP guests and internal teams alike.
Strong sense of organisation, ability to prioritise, to coordinate parallel tasks and stakeholders, and to hit tight deadlines.
Results-oriented mindset: every event must serve the business objectives.
Why join us?
Join a B2B SaaS scale-up in a fast-growing market (third-party cybersecurity).
Work on an international event scope with real freedom of initiative.
Build a proprietary events programme from scratch (concept design, testing and roll-out) with real creative freedom.
A marketing team in full structuring mode, working hand-in-hand with the business.
