Job Overview:
We are seeking a technically proficient and experienced Senior IT Engineer to join our IT Operations team in Israel. This position plays a crucial role in managing and optimizing the IT infrastructure while closely collaborating with the Business Applications Manager and Security Operations team to ensure seamless integration and minimal redundancy. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in endpoint management, cloud services, identity and access management, and cross-functional IT support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Endpoint Management:
- Oversee the management and maintenance of endpoints across the company, including Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android devices, leveraging Intune and other endpoint management tools.
- Develop and enforce configuration profiles for enhanced security, operational efficiency, and device consistency.
- Implement and monitor security measures, including encryption, application restrictions, and conditional access policies.
- Systems Administration:
- Manage cloud platforms, including Azure, Entra ID, and Google Workspace, ensuring security, compliance, and operational efficiency.
- Coordinate with the Business Applications Manager to support system integrations, user provisioning, and access management.
- Support server administration tasks, including routine maintenance, backups, and performance monitoring.
- Infrastructure Projects:
- Lead or contribute to regional and global IT infrastructure projects, including software rollouts, network upgrades, and system migrations.
- Collaborate with the Security Operations team to implement security controls and ensure alignment with security frameworks (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001).
- Technical Support:
- Provide advanced Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support for complex IT issues, coordinating with vendors and external partners as necessary.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive IT documentation, including SOPs, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge base articles.
- Training and Mentorship:
- Train junior IT staff on advanced troubleshooting techniques, security best practices, and endpoint management.
- Serve as a point of escalation for complex IT issues, ensuring timely resolution and follow-up.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management or systems administration.
- Strong proficiency in endpoint management, particularly using Intune and Entra ID.
- Experience managing Apple and Windows environments, including device provisioning, security policies, and software deployment.
- Advanced knowledge of Azure cloud services, including identity and access management, compliance, and networking.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python for automation and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with IT security best practices and compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001).
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, capable of collaborating across multiple departments.
- Relevant certifications such as MD-102, ITIL v4, or equivalent are preferred.
