We’re looking for an experienced, German-speaking General Accountant to take ownership of the financial and administrative operations for our entities in the DACH region. In this role, you will report directly to our Head of Accounting & Tax, based in France.

Your Impact at Brevo:

  • Be responsible for the Finance topics of 1 German entity & 2 Austrian entities: day-to-day bookkeeping, accounts reviews, expenses claims management
  • Work on the tax compliance with local CPAs
  • Work on payroll management with local GM and local CPAs
  • Liaise with the AP team to review AP topics
  • Work on Monthly Financial reporting
  • Improve of the internal processes
  • Coordinate with the debt collection partner
  • Support to Sales Admin team on German customers topics
  • Participate on Finance projects (local and global)

Who you are:

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance
  • At least 3+ years experience as an Accountant
  • Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures (closing process) & taxes
  • Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
  • Hands-on experience with accounting software packages, like Netsuite
  • Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Autonomy, Proactive, Ability to work in a scalable environment
  • Excellent German proficiency (C1/C2), with good very good English proficiency (at least B2)
  • French speaking skills are a plus
