Join us as a Technical ReactJS Lead and help shape our engineering vision across all product verticals. In this high-impact role, you’ll collaborate with the Engineering Manager to drive architectural decisions, mentor the team, and deliver front-end excellence integrated with scalable back-end systems.

Your Impact at Brevo:
- Lead frontend architecture, design decisions, and best practices.
- Build and scale large distributed React applications.
- Collaborate with Engineering Managers, Developers, Designers, and Product teams.
- Mentor SE/SSE engineers, guide code quality, and review PRs.
- Diagnose, solve, and prevent complex performance issues.
- Advocate for clean code, scalability, and engineering excellence.
- Drive Code Excellence: Configure, contribute and improvise state-of-the-art micro-frontends engineered for performance, ensuring robust, scalable integration with our backend REST API.
- Champion Quality: Actively advocate for and implement continuous improvements to product quality, security, and performance (QSP). Architect and code sophisticated interfaces, strictly enforcing high-fidelity specifications to bring pixel-perfect user experiences to life.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Work within a dedicated, cross-functional team, collaboratively defining and adhering to methods and best practices that align with modern engineering standards.
- Solve Complexity: Lead the resolution of technical challenges that are of high complexity and scope.
Who you are:
- Having Deep Experience: 5-8 years of experience in front-end development, specifically operating and scaling large distributed front-end systems.
- React Mastery: Expert-level knowledge of ReactJS & Redux is non-negotiable, with demonstrated experience in large-scale applications. Expert-level ReactJS & Redux (mandatory).
- Strong command of advanced JavaScript and modern frontend patterns, with excellent, in-depth understanding of advanced concepts.
- Good understanding of modern frontend tooling such as Webpack, Babel, and related build tools.
- Hands-on experience with state management libraries like Redux, Zustand, or Context API.
- Hands-on experience with performance optimisation on high-scale systems, and the ability to optimise applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Solid testing experience using Jest and React Testing Library (RTL).Proficient in Git and exposure to CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployments.
- Agile Adaptability: A proven ability to quickly grasp and articulate new technology concepts and architecture with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Performance Focus: Demonstrated experience diagnosing, solving, and implementing preventative measures for complex performance and optimisation problems. You are driven to iterate quickly and safely on high-scale systems.
- Attitude: Highly positive, proactive attitude and proven ability to build strong, collaborative relationships across all levels of the organisation.
- Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with server-side rendering (SSR) frameworks and ecosystems, including production-grade Next.js applications, TypeScript codebases, monorepo architectures (Nx, Turborepo), and advanced Webpack optimisation techniques.
- Basic exposure to backend or DevOps workflows.
- Familiarity with backend fundamentals or DevOps workflows (CI/CD, containerization, cloud platforms) to support end-to-end architectural decisions.
- Prior experience mentoring engineers, driving technical design discussions, performing high-quality code reviews, and shaping engineering best practices across teams.
