We are dedicated to help Android, iOS, React Native, and Flutter engineers with tooling that accelerates their work through cutting edge techniques like remote build caching and remote distributed task execution, with an easy to use and fun developer experience.

We also provide data-based visibility into how their build tools are performing, helping them to identify and resolve slow and flaky builds and tests, enabling engineers to diagnose and fix issues quickly.

We are seeking a Mobile Platform Engineer (medior to senior level) to design, build, scale, adopt and maintain cutting-edge tooling for mobile developers, enabling users to expedite their development process.

You’ll work in a dynamic, cross-functional team alongside Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers. You'll also collaborate across Bitrise to enhance our platform’s scalability, reliability, and developer experience.

The gross monthly salary for these roles are:

• Medior: 1,270,000-1,620-000
• Senior: 1,735,000-2,360,000 HUF
  

As a Mobile Platform Engineer at Bitrise you will

• Design, build, and maintain high-performance tooling that accelerates mobile app build and test processes.
• Participate in customer engineering by exploring the user’s mobile development setup and provide professional guidance
• Improve visibility into developer workflows with tooling that provides data on flaky tests, slow builds, and performance regressions.
• Build integrations with tools like Gradle, Bazel, and xcodebuild to provide seamless developer experiences.
• Contribute to automation efforts that streamline repetitive development and infrastructure tasks.
• Participate in the full software lifecycle — from planning and prototyping to delivery and support.
• Support and collaborate with customers to understand their needs, diagnose issues, and improve their build experience.
• Operate and monitor internal tools in production, ensuring reliability and performance.
• Continuously experiment with new technologies and bring them into the team when appropriate.
• Contribute to a strong engineering culture through collaboration, mentorship, and knowledge sharing.

Key skills and characteristics

• At least 2 years of experience in Mobile, Platform Engineering, Tooling, DevOps, or a related mobile developer productivity role.
• Hands-on experience with one or more mobile development environments: Android, iOS, React Native, or Flutter.
• Solid understanding of scripting and automation practices; comfortable working with CI systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a pragmatic approach to delivering robust, scalable tooling.
• Curiosity and comfort navigating emerging tools, systems, and documentation-light ecosystems.
• Clear communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and functions.
• A bias for experimentation and continuous improvement — in both tooling and personal growth.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

What would really knock our socks off

• Experience optimizing build performance or reducing build times in mobile projects.
• Experience writing Gradle plugins, Bazel rules, or custom extensions for build systems.
• Familiarity with remote build caching, distributed execution systems, or related infrastructure.
• Prior experience working with Golang or mobile-specific CI/CD platforms like Bitrise.
• Background in developer tooling ergonomics — a taste for clean, intuitive dev experiences.
• Experience contributing to engineering culture or driving technical change across an organization.
• Comfortable working in a remote, globally distributed team.
