Customer Success Manager

To ensure continuous growth and become a leader in the European consumer billing market we are looking for a Customer Success Manager to join our team.

About the role:

As Customer Success Manager, your primary responsibility is to act as a trusted strategic advisor to our clients. You'll drive profitability and customer retention by ensuring clients achieve their desired outcomes with our product. You will serve as the main point of contact for a number of large and mid-sized clients, gaining a deep understanding of their business goals and challenges.

In this role, you are the one who connects the dots. You zoom out to see the big picture and ensure that every decision made along the way supports the long-term commercial success of the partnership. You aren't afraid to take charge, drive your own agenda, and lead both internal and external stakeholders to ensure we deliver real value.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Strategic Account Ownership: You develop and drive the client agenda, creating account plans with specific goals and breaking them down into impactful activities.

  • Commercial Drive: You focus on maximizing client lifetime value by identifying business opportunities and leading complex contract negotiations, often at C-level.

  • Stakeholder Management: You act as a cross-functional leader, coordinating efforts across different teams at Billogram to ensure the client journey is successful.

  • Influence Product Development: You act as a strategic bridge between the market and our product team, providing crucial feedback to ensure our roadmap aligns with high-impact client needs.

  • Drive Process Improvement: You take the lead on developing and implementing your own initiatives to improve and streamline processes and ways of working within the Customer Success team.

  • Lead and Escalate: You have the ability to classify issues and the confidence to drive them to resolution, escalating when necessary to protect the business and the customer experience.

What we are looking for:

We are looking for a self-starter who is comfortable taking the lead and acting as a clear, guiding voice for our clients. You excel at building trusted relationships and navigating complex stakeholder landscapes with ease. While you are confident in your expertise and able to be a decisive voice in a room, you always remain humble and genuinely curious about the people and businesses you support. You are highly organized and possess a strong ability to zoom out and connect the dots to see the logic and connections in complex environments.

What will help you succeed:

  • Proven experience in managing a client portfolio and driving formal account plans and review cycles.

  • Experience in initiating and leading complex contract negotiations and renegotiations, ideally at C-level.

  • Solid skills in acting as a cross-functional project leader, coordinating complex client journeys and outcomes by leveraging internal teams (e.g., sales, product, tech).

  • Industry experience from the payment landscape or our focus verticals (Telecom, Utilities, Insurance) is a plus.

  • Experience from working in a start-up/scale-up environment within SaaS is beneficial.

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or equivalent is beneficial. .

  • Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken is a requirement.
