About AMBOSS

AMBOSS is the copilot for medical professionals, empowering them to provide the best possible care through our learning and clinical decision support tool. Our team brings together care, innovative thinking, and cutting-edge AI medical technology. Our founders launched AMBOSS in 2011 with the goal of creating a tool they wished they had during medical school and clinical practice. Since then, we've grown to over 600 employees and are active in over 180 countries - primarily in Germany and the US. Our offices are located in Berlin, Cologne, New York, and Cagliari.

You will:

  • Partner with other physicians to plan, outline, and write medical content for US clinicians.

  • Research, draft, and refine new high-impact topics for our medical library

  • Review and optimize existing content on our platform

  • Integrate user feedback and incorporate new evidence-based guidelines to keep our content current.

  • Communicate with our marketing and product teams to optimize our platform for physicians.

  • Use our content management system to seamlessly integrate text, images, and videos in our AMBOSS articles and questions (no tech background required).

  • Learn how to use AI tools (e.g., LLMs) thoughtfully and responsibly, with appropriate human oversight, to support editorial workflows and enable high-quality, accurate editorial work.

You bring:

  • M.D. degree

  • Current or recent clinical experience in Internal medicine. (US-based clinical experience is a plus, but not a requirement.)

  • Strong command of written and spoken English

  • Availability: full-time or near-full-time (at least 32 hours/week)

  • Structured thinking: You can take a messy, complex guideline and break it down into clear and actionable formats.

  • Strong understanding of evidence-based medicine: You can critically appraise research and distinguish between strong and weak evidence.

  • Proficiency in finding, interpreting, and applying clinical literature and medical society guidelines

You enjoy:

  • Learning new skills and diving into a different way of working

  • Working in a supportive team of dedicated and communicative editors

  • Making life easier for busy physicians by turning dense information into accessible answers.

  • Answering specific clinical questions through focused, efficient research

  • Growing professionally by giving and receiving authentic feedback

  • Exploring emerging technologies, trends, and innovations in medical education.
