Role Overview: This role involves managing and overseeing the daily operations of student community platforms, supervising moderators, and ensuring high-quality, consistent engagement. It includes handling complex cases and escalations, setting moderation standards, monitoring community activity, coordinating with internal teams, analyzing feedback, and suggesting improvements to enhance the overall student experience.

As a Senior Community Officer, You will:

  • Oversee and manage the daily operations of the students’ community platforms.
  • Supervise and support Community Moderators, ensuring quality and consistency in responses.
  • Handle complex cases, escalations, and sensitive student issues professionally.
  • Set response standards, tone guidelines, and moderation best practices.
  • Monitor community engagement and ensure adherence to community rules and policies.
  • Coordinate with Operations, Academic, and Support teams to resolve student issues.
  • Share important announcements, updates, and instructions with students in a timely manner.
  • Analyze common student inquiries and feedback and report insights to management.
  • Suggest improvements to enhance student experience and community engagement.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in community management, moderation, or student support.
  • Excellent communication skills in Arabic and English.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
  • Ability to handle pressure, conflicts, and escalations calmly and professionally.
  • Experience using community platforms (WhatsApp, Discord, Slack, LMS communities, etc.).
  • Strong organizational and reporting skills.
  • Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
