Job Overview: As a Program Manager you will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of ICT training and capacity-building programs. This role involves managing multiple project streams, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and guaranteeing timely delivery of all program deliverables in compliance with contractual, technical, and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing similar programs, a proven track record of successful execution, and strong leadership, risk management, and communication skills.

As a Program Manager, you will:

  • Take full ownership of the program and be accountable for all program-related activities.
  • Develop, implement, and continuously monitor the detailed program plan.
  • Track program progress and ensure alignment with approved timelines, milestones, and strategic objectives.
  • Prepare and submit weekly progress reports covering:
  • Program status and progress
  • Identified risks and challenges
  • Reasons for any delays
  • Updated program plans with clear justifications for changes
  • Attend regular and ad-hoc meetings to track and review program performance.
  • Coordinate with all internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth program execution.
  • Ensure timely delivery of all program reports and deliverables as specified in the program scope and technical specifications.
  • Maintain full compliance with contractual, technical, and quality requirements throughout the program lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Minimum 10 years of overall professional experience.
  • At least 5 years of proven experience managing similar programs, specifically ICT training and capacity-building initiatives targeting defined age groups.
  • Proven track record of managing at least 5 comparable programs successfully.
  • Strong program planning, monitoring, and reporting skills.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to identify and mitigate risks effectively.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
