Job Overview:
We’re looking for a skilled and detail-driven Senior Proposal Development Expert to join our team. In this role, you’ll lead the development of high-impact technical and financial proposals for public and private sector opportunities. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to translate instructional design strategies, E-learning standards, and LMS capabilities into clear, compelling proposal content. As Senior Proposal Development Expert you will:
- Lead the end-to-end development of high-quality technical and financial proposals for public and private sector tenders, RFPs, and strategic partnerships.
- Analyze RFPs and tender requirements, translating them into detailed proposal plans and outlines.
- Customize proposal content to align with client objectives, industry standards, and internal capabilities.
- Translate instructional design methodologies into proposal language—highlighting curriculum design, learner engagement strategies, and digital content development capabilities.
- Draft technical narratives that describe blended learning approaches, gamification, assessment methods, and learner analytics.
- Showcase your understanding of SCORM, xAPI, interactive media, and adaptive learning systems.
- Work closely with technical teams to articulate system architecture, LMS deployment, integration capabilities, and platform scalability.
- Write sections of proposals detailing technical infrastructure, system security, user management, and reporting capabilities.
- Communicate technical solutions in a clear and client-friendly manner.
- Collaborate with finance and ops teams to build accurate pricing models, cost justifications, and commercial proposals.
- Ensure compliance with client budget formats and pricing structures, including pricing tables, BOQs, and payment schedules.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education Technology, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in proposal development, especially within education, e-learning, or EdTech sectors.
- Strong understanding of LMS platforms (e.g., Moodle, Canvas, TalentLMS), eLearning standards (SCORM, xAPI), and digital content authoring tools.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and project management skills.
- Ability to simplify complex technical information for non-technical audiences.
