⭐️ The Brand Marketer Job ⭐️

We're looking for a Brand Marketer to build and scale Alan's brand presence in Belgium. You'll be responsible for driving growth through our brand, and establishing Alan as the leading health insurance brand.

Belgium is a highly strategic market for Alan. This role will shape how we show up locally, bringing global brand excellence to life while creating campaigns that resonate authentically. You'll have significant autonomy to build our brand presence, with a clear mandate and a budget to make an impact.

Your primary success goal is to drive branded organic traffic growth. You'll own the strategy and execution for making Alan a top-of-mind brand in Belgium, building a local brand planning that maximizes reach, memorability and as a consequence traffic impact. You'll track performance, identify what resonates with Belgian audiences, and continuously optimize your approach to accelerate growth. You'll have autonomy, and responsibility, over a local budget to deploy to achieve these objectives.

You’ll leverage:

  1. Bring global brand campaigns to life in Belgium. You'll take Alan's global brand initiatives and make them locally relevant, adapting messaging for Dutch and French audiences, incorporating Belgian cultural moments, and ensuring proper market timing. You'll be our eyes and ears on the ground, translating global strategy into campaigns that drive results in Belgium.

  2. Create high-impact local brand initiatives. You'll identify and execute Belgian-specific opportunities to build brand awareness and drive traffic: campaigns targeting key audiences (management companies, entrepreneurs, HR) through tactics you deem fitting: event activations, out-of-home advertising, micro-influencer collaborations, ….

  3. Lead press campaigns. You'll coordinate media opportunities, manage press releases for global and Belgian milestones to help position Alan's voice in Belgian health insurance conversations.

You'll collaborate closely with the global Brand crew for strategic alignment while having full ownership of the Belgian roadmap, execution, and budget. You'll work cross-functionally with local sales, growth, and product teams to ensure brand initiatives support business objectives for Belgium.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on brand marketer who knows how to get things done, who loves bringing campaigns to life, and can operate independently with entrepreneurial energy. You're excited about the opportunity to shape Alan's brand presence in a fast-growing market, balancing global consistency with local relevance, and seeing your work directly impact business growth.

You may be a great fit at Alan if you have/are:

  • 5+ years experience in brand marketing, communications, or related roles

  • Full English fluency (written and spoken)

  • Native-level Dutch (bilingual Dutch/French is a strong plus)

  • Scrappy and resourceful: Proven track record creating and executing successful brand campaigns with limited budgets and resources

  • Creative problem-solver: Ability to achieve big impact through frugal, innovative approaches rather than heavy spending

  • Data-driven: Strong analytical skills with ability to measure campaign impact and ROI

  • Budget-conscious: Experience efficiently managing budgets with a focus on maximizing ROI through creative, scrappy solutions

  • Experience with press relations and media coordination in a B2B market.

  • Excellent storytelling and content creation skills across channels

  • Entrepreneurial mindset: you're a self-starter who thrives building in fast-paced environments

  • Comfortable with ambiguity: You navigate independently, taking initiative to build programs from scratch with minimal guidance.

  • Strong ownership mentality with focus on delivering results

  • Collaborative spirit with ability to influence across teams and geographies

Bonus points for:

  • Background in high-growth tech or startup environments

  • Existing relationships in Belgian media or influencer landscape

  • Understanding of Belgian B2B market or health insurance sector
