As Alan scales internationally (700+ employees, 100+ healthcare professionals, 5+ countries), we need an Infrastructure & Security owner to manage network infrastructure, device security, and compliance while reducing operational toil through automation. You'll work autonomously within the IT Community, while collaborating with Security and internal tooling teams to ensure our infrastructure scales without scaling manual work.

Location: Paris-based - You'll work from our Valmy office 3+ days per week, with flexibility for remote work on other days.

First 2 months

  • Join IT oncall rotation covering all IT questions.

  • Answer effectively the vast majority of questions, and offer long-term solutions to identified problems.

First 6 months

  • Own Infrastructure & Security workstream (handoff from current owner).

  • Lead security & compliance initiatives (ISO 27001, device security, access control).

  • Reduce bus factor through documentation and knowledge sharing.

  • Support international expansion (e.g., KSA office setup).

First year

  • Deliver measurable infrastructure toil reduction.

  • Achieve 100% device compliance (MDM, EDR, FileVault).

  • Build strong cross-functional partnerships (Security, Engineering, Health, Workplace).

  • Ship automation projects (network configs, compliance checks, self-service tools).

3 years

  • Scale infrastructure seamlessly with company growth (no linear manual work increase).

  • Mentor IT team on infrastructure/security.

  • Lead major projects end-to-end (office expansions, security architecture, compliance).

For this opportunity, we are aiming to hire within the C0-C1 level range.

Must-have - Technical/hard skills:

  • 3-5+ years infrastructure experience: Network (VPN, office connectivity), device management at scale (MDM), cloud basics (AWS/Azure/GCP).

  • Security & compliance: Hands-on with ISO 27001 or SOC 2, vulnerability management, incident response.

  • Automation-first mindset: Good judgment on when to automate vs. manual process.

  • Operational maturity: Oncall/production systems experience, vendor/budget management.

Must-have - Behavioral / soft skills:

  • End-to-end project ownership: Scope initiatives, communicate proactively, handle blockers autonomously, deliver results, iterate post-launch.

  • Strong ownership: Takes responsibility, learns from incidents, works autonomously.

  • Cross-team collaboration: Partners effectively with Security, Engineering,Finance, Workplace and Business teams; explains technical concepts clearly.

  • Pragmatic judgment: Balances "perfect" vs. "good enough," makes decisions with incomplete information.

  • Mentorship: Documents systems, shares knowledge, reduces team dependencies.

  • Adaptability: Thrives with ambiguity, growth mindset.

Nice-to-have skills / Bonus points if you have:

  • Network specialist depth (routing, subnetting, enterprise architecture).

  • Experience with international offices and multi-country complexity.

  • Zero Trust or modern VPN implementation (Cloudflare WARP, Zscaler, etc.).

  • Coding beyond basic automation (Python, advanced IaC).

  • Experience scaling infrastructure from 100 β†’ 500+ employees.

Languages: Fluent French & English.
