General Manager Associate πŸ‡§πŸ‡ͺ

⭐ Detailed missions ⭐

As such, you can’t be exhaustive on the missions you will perform as an Associate, as you can be asked to help on almost any subject.

GM Associates support the General Manager and Senior Alaners on key business priorities, such as unlocking new growth, driving alignment on strategy and building new processes/standards internally and externally.

This GM associate role will be dedicated to helping the GM of Belgium to grow Alan's market share in Belgium and establish our position as a leading health insurance provider.

You will be directly involved in Alan's most important challenges, working on high-impact initiatives that shape our success.

As a GM Associate, you'll work on diverse projects that drive the business forward. Examples include:

  • Corporate & Governance (support board pack preparation, conduct market research, facilitate key leadership meetings, contribute to Weekly & Monthly Business Reviews).

  • Strategy (contribute to the country's strategic vision, analyze markets and competition, produce business analyses, build growth models).

  • Growth (support new revenue initiatives and partnership development).

  • Brand & Communication (develop Corporate brand presence at business events, contribute to newsletters, support social media strategy).

  • Product (Contribute to the product vision by identifying and exploring strategic product opportunities, support the continuous improvement of Alan’s core offering, conduct user research, assist in design & prototyping )

  • Talent (support sourcing and recruiting efforts).

  • Team (organize Belgian offsites, kick-offs and team events).

In this position, you will gain valuable exposure to strategic topics at Alan and work closely with the GM on initiatives that are crucial to our success. You will develop rapidly with guidance from experienced senior Alaners.

This is an excellent opportunity to work across multiple areas in a dynamic, non-traditional environment.

Examples of recent projects by global Associate team

  • Finance - Supporting Series F fundraising: prepared pitch materials, conducted financial analysis for valuation, coordinated fundraising activities with investors

  • Product - Exploring health stories: conducted market research to understand opportunities for new health services within Alan

  • Finance - Contributing to M&A processes: supported due diligence and valuation work, helped coordinate integration activities

  • GTM - Managing major tender processes: coordinated throughout the process, aligned Sales and Product teams to develop competitive proposals

  • Recurring responsibilities: Coordinating weekly internal communications, supporting CEO newsletter, facilitating monthly business reviews
