Alan's vision is to make prevention the new norm of care for all. Our mission is to help people live in good health to 100 while helping employers feel proud, turning health benefits from a cost centre into their most valuable investment.

We're building a vertically integrated health partner that seamlessly unites insurance and smart healthcare delivery into one system.

By connecting all aspects of care - private, public, and direct to consumer - we create the most member-centric healthcare experience. Through deep engagement, we empower everyone to overcome day-to-day health obstacles and live healthier lives.

We partner with 32,000+ companies of all sizes, serving more than 700K members, and have reached €500M+ in ARR.

Our team of 600 people (still growing) operates across France 🇫🇷, Spain 🇪🇸, Belgium 🇧🇪, and Canada 🇨🇦.

⭐️ The Data Team

• Being part of Alan's data team means you'll have a positive impact on people's health and wellbeing.

• We create insights to help our colleagues focus on what is most impactful.

• We build features and tools powered by data that directly help our members.

• Examples include:

  • going deep into health consumption patterns,

  • understanding our product usage,

  • creating visibility to help our sales team perform,

  • automating how we reimburse our members,

  • building reminders that help our members stay healthy...

We also believe in having a full stack approach:

• Each one of us contributes to all 3 aspects of the data spectrum (analytics, engineering, science). This encourages strong ownership and drives impact.

• We own our infrastructure. We pride ourselves on a nimble data stack that gives us the flexibility we need. We're mainly using SQL, Python, R, Airflow, Snowflake, and Metabase.

• We build in-house tooling to organize our data and serve it to the rest of the company.

🎯 Expected skills and abilities

You would thrive at Alan if most of this sounds like you:

• Passionate about owning ambitious problems and developing simple solutions for them

• Demonstrated impact during a first successful experience.

• Experience or willingness to grow in all 3 aspects of the data spectrum (analytics, engineering, science) -- being specialized in one of these areas is good too!

• Proficient in SQL, Python and/or R- Setting a high standard of rigor and precision for yourself, interested in your craft

• Great listening and communication skills

• Humble, kind, collaborative, and still willing to grow (no matter your seniority!)

• Fluent and clear in English, both oral and written (no need to speak French!)
