About the Company

We are seeking a versatile Video Content Producer based in our Bangkok office to be the driving force behind all of Zaapi's video content — from short-form TikTok-style ads and Meta/Google display creatives to long-form YouTube how-to videos, product walkthroughs and LinkedIn thought leadership content.

About the Role

This is a full-stack video role. You will concept, plan, film, edit, and deliver — owning the entire production pipeline end-to-end. We’re not looking for someone who only shoots or only edits. We need a one-person video engine who can pick up a camera, set up a shot, cut it together with animated motion graphics, and publish content that performs across platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Short-Form Video Ads: Produce TikTok-style and vertical video ads for Meta, Google Display, and social channels — from concept through final cut. Fast turnaround, high volume, platform-native style.
  • Product & How-To Content: Create product walkthroughs, feature demos, onboarding tutorials, and how-to videos for YouTube and our website. Make SaaS software look simple and compelling on screen.
  • Motion Graphics & Animation: Design and produce animated motion graphics, text overlays, lower thirds, and visual effects to elevate all video content. This is a core skill, not a nice-to-have.
  • LinkedIn & Thought Leadership: Produce video content for LinkedIn — founder clips, industry insights, customer stories — formatted for engagement on professional platforms.
  • End-to-End Production: Own the full production pipeline — pre-production (scripting, storyboarding, shot planning), production (filming, lighting, audio), and post-production (editing, color grading, sound mixing, motion graphics).
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with the design team on visual consistency, the product team on feature launches, and external agencies or freelancers on larger projects.
  • Content Performance: Track video performance metrics across platforms, learn what works, and iterate. You’re not just a creator — you care about whether the content drives results.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Qualifications
  • 2-4 years of experience in video production, content creation, or a similar role
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating short-form video content (TikTok/Reels style) AND longer-form content (tutorials, product videos)
  • Proficient in modern video editing and motion graphics — tool-agnostic, but you should be fast and output-focused
  • Ability to shoot, light, and record audio independently
  • Strong visual storytelling instinct — you know what makes someone stop scrolling
  • AI-literate: You are already using AI tools in your video workflow (e.g., Runway, Kling, CapCut, Descript, Pika, ElevenLabs, HeyGen, or similar). We expect you to produce and iterate at speed — not spend a week on a single edit.
  • Good command of English (Thai is a plus but not mandatory)

Preferred Skills

  • Experience producing video content for a SaaS, tech, or B2B company
  • Experience creating performance-driven video ads (Meta, Google, TikTok)
  • Up to date with the latest AI video production tools and actively experimenting with new ones
  • Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Figma, or similar)
  • Experience with podcast production or audio editing
  • Understanding of e-commerce platforms and SME audiences in Southeast Asia
  • Previous experience in a startup environment
  • Thai language proficiency is a plus but not required
  • Own camera/equipment is a plus but not required
